Profesorul Pop vs. Mosu
Articolul îl prezintã pe Mihai Pop din perspectiva unei persoane din familie, care încearcã sã se detaseze de subiectivitate si sã gãseascã imagini si cuvinte care sã concentreze principalele trãsãturi ale genialitãtii lui Mosu. Profesorul este un om al contradictiilor, stiind întotdeauna sã împace dihotomiile. Creativ si generos, el are calitatea rarã de a construi lucrurile trainic si toate proiectele lui au o anumitã continuitate. Mihai Pop a întemeiat o scoalã care-i poartã numele, o institutie mai mult virtualã, dar unde se predã un mod de a aborda potential orice subiect de cercetare. El a fost un om al dialogului si un cosmopolit, vorbind cel putin sapte limbi strãine. În acelasi timp, nu si-a pierdut legãtura cu spatiul natal, având eleganta de a accepta totodatã relativitatea ideilor si discursurilor. The article presents Mihai Pop from the perspective of a member of his family, who tries to distance herself from subjectivity and to find images and words that would concentrate the main features of the Old Man’s genius. The Professor is a man of contradictions, who always knows how to reconcile dichotomies. At the same time, he is creative and generous and has the rare quality of building long lasting projects. Mihai Pop is founder of a school that bears his name. The „Mihai Pop school” is more like a virtual institution but it is a place where people are taught how to approach potentially any research topic. He was a man of the dialogue and a universal scholar who could speak at least seven foreign languages. Nevertheless, he never lost connection with his native space, although he had the elegance of accepting the relativity of all discourses and ideas. |
