Bibliografia de etnografie si folclor ca mostenire stiintificã
În 2009, la saizeci de ani de la înfiintarea Institutului de Folclor (redenumit ulterior Institutul de Etnografie si Folclor „Constantin Brãiloiu”) al Academiei Române, actualizarea bibliografiei etnologice este o necesitate, deoarece bibliografia reprezintã primul instrument de lucru, fiind esentialã pentru tipologizarea patrimoniului cultural traditional national si pentru includerea acestuia în circuitul stiintific international. În calitate de coordonator al activitãtii stiintifice (1949-1954), director adjunct (1954-1965) si director (1965-1974) al Institutului, Mihai Pop a coordonat un program de elaborare a instrumentelor de lucru pentru etnologia româneascã. Unul dintre obiectivele majore ale acestui program este realizarea, în paralel, a bibliografiei generale si a bibliografiei curente a etnografiei si folclorului românesc. În prezent, programul de Actualizare, modernizare, conservare si sistematizare a patrimoniului cultural si informational al Institutului include proiectarea si redactarea bibliografiei românesti de etnografie si folclor (BREF), sectiunea curentã. It is 60 years in 2009 since the foundation of the Folklore Institute (named later “Constantin Brăiloiu” Institute of Ethnography and Folklore) within the Romanian Academy and nothing would be more appropriate for the institute anniversary then updating the ethnological bibliography. It is well known that bibliography is the basic instrument in the process of classification of the national cultural heritage and its inclusion in the international academic environment. Mihai Pop acted as scientific coordinator (1949-1954), deputy manager (1954-1965) and general manager (1965-1974) of the institute and set up a programme in order to have work instruments elaborated for the Romanian ethnology. Parallel publication of general and current bibliography of the Romanian ethnography and folklore has been a major objective of his programme. At present, the Institute runs the programme called Updating, Modernization, Preservation and Systematization of Cultural and Informational Patrimony, including conception and editing of the Romanian bibliography of Ethnography and Folkore (BREF), current section. |
