De la traditie la competitie
Gratie implicãrii autoritãtilor locale, jocul cãlusului este reluat în comuna Cezieni în anul 2001, dupã o pauzã de câteva decenii. Traditia este astfel reluatã, însã, o datã cu reînvierea cãlusului, asistãm la specializarea lui in calitate de joc de virtuozitate, desfãsurat pe scenã, cu ocazia festivalurilor. Publicul ce asista la performarea vie a obiceiului suferã si el o transformare, devenind public al festivalului cãlusului de la Caracal si apreciind aceastã din urmã ipostazã a jocului cãluseresc drept mult mai atractivã. O datã cu publicul, scena modificã componenta grupului de cãlusari, jocul propriu-zis. Expo Aichi Japan furnizeazã cãlusarilor participanti un public infinit mai numeros si mai interesat. Due to the involvement of the local authorities, the dance of cãlus was performed again in the Romanian commune Cezieni in 2001, after a break of a few decades. The tradition has been thus revived but the dance of cãlus has changed its ritual character into a spectacular one, being performed on the stage during festivals. The public has also changed at the same time with the custom and people appreciate now the cãlus dance performed on the stage at the festival at Caracal. The stage performance influences the componence of the cãlusari group. The universal exhibition of Aichi, Japan, gives the cãlusari the opportunity of performing in front of a more varied and interesting public. |
