Imagini ale rãzboiului în naratiunile veteranilor din Cezieni (judetul Olt)
Includerea povestirilor ce au ca temã experienta rãzboiului în circuitul naratiunilor vehiculate la nivelul comunitãtii traditionale este determinatã pe de o parte de caracterul traumatizant al acestora, la nivel individual dar si colectiv, precum si faptului cã are o evidentã functie terapeuticã. Reevaluarea pozitiei individului la nivelul comunitãtii se realizeazã prin construirea unui discurs în care veteranii vor pune în valoare tocmai acele calitãtii care i-au ajutat sã supravietuiascã si care, la întoarcerea acasã, le vor legitima statutul nou dobândit. Discursul veteranilor de rãzboi din Cezieni este alcãtuit dintr-o serie de imagini, ce urmãresc aceleasi evenimente, structurate diferit în povestirile fiecãrui informator. Aceste diferente sunt determinate de gradul diferit de implicare afectivã precum si de viziunea ineditã a fiecãrui informator asupra evenimentelor. The paper analyses the actual phenomenon of story-telling, as it is reflected in the stories of the Second World War veterans in Cezieni (Olt county), pointing up the various ways in which a major event such a war can be perceived by different persons. Armed conflicts are a traumatizing experience for both individuals and for the community they belong to. Story-telling has an important terapeutic function for the surviving veterans as it provides the means to reassess their social status through the stories that they create, emphasizing on the qualities that helped them survive. The image of life on the battle field, as provided to us form the veterans’ stories is recreated from the various perspectives that each one of them has on episodes such as: hunger, exhaustion, the lack of food and clothes, fighting or meeting the enemies, detention. Each veteran has his own perspective of war, varying from a tragic to a comic-ironical point of view, due to their subjectivity and their capacity to transfigure the events that they took part in. |
