Recitind Ovid Densusianu
Antologia dialectală Graiul nostru. Texte din toate părtile locuite de români, alcătuită de O. Densusianu în colaborare cu I.A. Candrea si Theodor Sperantia si publicată în 1906, reprezintă primul corpus românesc de folclor contemporan. Relectura acestei antologii după un secol este intersectată de alte lecturi ale textelor apărute în această perioadă, intertextualitatea permitând revelarea unor aspecte până acum neobservate ale unei lucrări fundamentale pentru etnologia românească. O concluzie importantă a reevaluării programului de cercetare a culturii populare promovat de O. Densusianu este aceea că, în colectarea si interpretarea datelor de teren nu trebuie să luăm în considerare doar contextul lor estetic, ci si alte tipuri de contexte, egal relevante: cultural, social, politic, economic. Includerea textelor din antologia lui Densusianu în categoria documentelor etnologice corectează reducerea abuzivă a obiectului de studiu al etnologiei doar la faptele de folclor literar. The dialectal anthology Our Speaking. Texts from All the Places Inhabited by Romanians, put together by O. Densusianu in collaboration with I.A. Candrea and Theodor Sperantia and published in 1906 represents the first Romanian corpus of contemporary folklore. Re-reading this anthology after a century, we cannot but be influenced by the reading of the texts published in the meantime in the field of ethnology. However, this intertextual reading reveals aspects of this fundamental text of the Romanian ethnology that haven’t been noticed so far. An important conclusion of the reassessing of the folk culture research program initiated by .Densusianu is that we have to consider all types of contexts in our work of collecting and interpreting field data. The cultural, social, political or economic contexts are as relevant to our studies as the aesthetical context. The inclusion of the texts in Densusianu’s anthology in the category of ethnological documents corrects the abusive reduction of the object of study of ethnology only to literary folklore facts. |
