La o sãrbãtorire a profesorului Pop
Studiul se constituie într-un document de lucru etnologic, prezentând istoria alcãtuirii, în colaborare cu Alina Ciobãnel, a unui articol aniversar despre profesorul Mihai Pop, pentru Revista de Etnografie si Folclor, în anul 1999. Mihai Pop, presedintele Societãtii Internationale de Etnografie si Folclor (S.I.E.F.) (1971-1983) si laureatul Premiului Herder (1967) a colindat atât de mult si cu folos lumea congreselor, universitãtilor si societãtilor savante, încât dã impresia cã nu a plecat nicicând de acasã, pentru cã a pus în practica vietii academice internationale tocmai principiul tãrãnesc al colindatului. Aflat în baza documentelor de lucru, posterul încearcã sã contureze un portret polimorf al profesorului Pop, având ca ax central întemeierea prin surâs. La vârsta senectutii, Mihai Pop apare ca un trickster universitar si etnologic, care nu poate sã iasã la pensie pentru cã munca lui nu se terminã niciodatã. The study constitutes a document of the ethnological work, as it presents the history of the writing of an anniversary article for professor Mihai Pop. Paul Drogeanu wrote this article in collaboration with Alina Ciobãnel for the Review of Ethnography and Folklore in 1999. As president of the International Society of Ethnography and Folklore (SIEF) (1971-1983) and a laureate of the Herder award (1967), Mihai Pop travelled fruitfully in the world of congresses, scientific societies and universities, leaving the impression of belonging to any of these places, because he knew how to bring the spirit of his home with him in such journeys. The poster in the basis of work documents tries to outline a polimorphic portrait of professor Pop, centered around the foundation by smiling. As an old man, Mihai Pop appears as a university and ethnological trickster who cannot retire because his work has no end. |
