Amintindu-ne de Marin Buga
Marin Buga, asistent la catedra de folclor a profesorului Mihai Pop, în perioada 1957 – 1970, este autorul unei remarcabile culegeri de folclor poetic argesean, cuprinzând 193 de texte, tipărite de editorul Iordan Datcu în anul 1968, în antologia regională Folclor din Oltenia si Muntenia, vol. 3. În activitatea de folclorist a lui Marin Buga, anii 1968 si 1970 i-au marcat vârful profesional, apărându-i studii în legătură cu diferentierea genurilor literaturii populare, structuri compozitionale în colindele românesti sau modelarea creatiilor folclorice. Teza de doctorat a celui evocat în acest articol a tratat subiectul Ovid Densusianu, folclorist si a fost sustinută în 1976, sub coordonarea stiintifică a lui Mihai Pop. Foarte amplă si documentată, reliefând un spirit polemic si o reală vocatie de cercetător al istoriei folcloristicii românesti, teza de doctorat a lui Marin Buga a fost tipărită postum, în 2003. Marin Buga, a university assistant of professor Mihai Pop at the Folklore Department of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Bucharest from 1957 to 1970, is the author of a remarkable folk poetry collection. The collection contains 193 texts from Arges district, in the south of the country and Iordan Datcu edited it in the regional folklore anthology Folklore from Oltenia and Muntenia, volume 3. The years 1968 and 1970 can be considered the professional peak of Marin Buga’s activity, when he wrote his studies on the distinction between genres in folk literature, compositional structures in Romanian winter solstice songs and patterns in folk creation. Marin Buga’s Ph. D thesis, Ovid Densusianu, folklore scholar, was presented in 1976 under the scientific coordination of Mihai Pop. It is very ample and documented and it points out the author’s polemic spirit and his call for researching the history of folklore studies. Unfortunately, it came to print only postumously, in 2003. |
