Pavel Ruxãndoiu la 70 de ani
În 2004, Pavel Ruxãndoiu a împlinit 70 de ani, o vârstã favorabilã unui prim bilant al activitãtii lui pe terenul etnologiei românesti. Asistent al profesorului Mihai Pop la Catedra de folclor literar a Facultãtii de Litere de la Universitatea din Bucuresti, apoi lector si conferentiar, Pavel Ruxãndoiu se remarcã prin pasiune fatã de misiunea didacticã, meticulozitate si calitate a informatiei în studiile stiintifice publicate si capacitatea de analizã în context a textelor folclorice. Printre lucrãrile reprezentative pentru valoarea lui Pavel Ruxãndoiu se aflã cursul universitar Folclor literar românesc (1976), scris în colaborare cu Mihai Pop si reluat ulterior într-o lucrare proprie, Folclorul literar în contextul culturii populare românesti (2001) si Proverb si context (2003), carte rezultatã din teza de doctorat. Pavel Ruxandoiu celebrated his 70th anniversary in 2004, which is a favorable age to a first review of his activity in the field of Romanian ethnology. He was an assistant to Professor Mihai Pop within the Literary Folklore Department at the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest, promoted then to lecturer and associate professor. During this period, Pavel Ruxandoiu could be characterized as a passionate teacher, a meticulous and well informed researcher and a fine analyst of the folklore texts in their relevant contexts. Among the representative works for Pavel Ruxandoiu’s value we mention the university course Romanian Literary Folklore (1976), written in collaboration with Mihai Pop and re-elaborated later as Literary Folklore in the Context of Romanian Folk Culture (2001) and Proverb and Context (2003), a book resulted from the author’s Ph. D. thesis. |
