O aniversare tristã: 50 de ani de la aparitia primului numãr din “REVISTA DE FOLCLOR” („REVISTA DE ETNOGRAFIE SI FOLCLOR”)
Articol omagial prilejuit de aniversarea a 50 de ani de la aparitia primului numãr din „Revista de Folclor” (din 1964 „Revista de Etnografie si Folclor”), singurul periodic academic specializat în cercetarea culturii populare. Pe baza mãrturiilor din epocã (Pavel Tugui, Al. I. Amzulescu) si al sumarului revistei este reconstituit climatul aparitiei „R.F.” si evidentiat rolul acesteia în orientarea cercetãrii folcloristice românesti din ultimii 50 de ani. Este deplâns faptul cã, din cauze neelucidate, „Revista de Etnografie si Folclor” si-a încetat aparitia (ultimul numãr iesit de sub tipar este nr. 1, 2000). This editorial pays homage to the first issue of „Revista de Folclor” („The Folklore Review”, called „Revista de Etnografie si Folclor” – „The Review of Ethnography and Folklore” since 1964) 50 years after its issuing. „Revista de Folclor” is the only academic periodical where folk culture studies are published as a program. Looking at some data of 50 years ago (recorded by Pavel Tugui and Al. I. Amzulescu) and at the contents of the review, I recompose the climate of the appearance of „R.F” and I point out its role in the orientation of Romanian folklore studies in the last 50 years. The fact is alarming that, due to unexplained cause, the „Review of Ethnography and Folklore” ceased to be edited (the last printed issue is number 1, 2000). |
